Go-to and quick work-wear makeup

One of the challenges i face on a daily basis is to get work ready along with hundreds of other daily chores in the morning. So i thought of sharing the easy guide for a daily work wear makeup.

  1. First of all Splash your face with water. Then cleanse your face with a FaceWash or a Cleanser.  Milk and Oatmeal are the natural cleansers which i use alternatively to keep my skin clean and smooth.
  2. Second step is to use Toner.  Toners help to close the open pores which otherwise can accumulate impurities and damage your skin. Apply a small amount of toner on the cotton pad or cotton ball and dab on the skin.
  3. Moisturize your skin with a good moisturizer. It helps to keep your skin healthy. For dry skin like mine it reduces the chances of wrinkles.Look for a good moisturizer that suits your skin type.
  4. Summer screams for Sunscreen, Look for a sunscreen with at least SPF 30. I look for this ingredient titanium dioxide in my sunscreen. It protects your skin from UVA and UVB radiation and is considered no risk of skin sensitivity.
  5. Apply a small dot of primer as a base for your makeup. I skip this step as i use good amount of moisturizer for a daily wear makeup. But for a party wear or full on makeup, i spray my face with  MAC Prep + Prime Fix mist.
  6. Foundation/ BB Cream. Apply a layer of foundation that matches your skin tone. Here in US, people use foundation to even out the skin tone. However, like typical Desi, i prefer to use a foundation which is one shade lighter than my skin tone. Personally i prefer using BB cream (Bobbie Brown BB cream) over foundation for a daily wear makeup.  Alternatively you can use powder foundation to fasten the process. (I use Bare Mineral Powder Foundation as a quick alternative).
  7.  Cover dark spots with Concealer. I prefer a shade lighter than my foundation shade to cover the dark circles under eyes. Since i don't have too much of a dark circle, i tend to skip this on a daily routine. Use it when you need full coverage.
  8. Apply a thin layer of Compact powder. I use Channel powder compact to complete the foundation look.
  9. Comb your eyebrows with browbrush. Fill in the eyebrows with eyebrow pencil should you need it.
  10. I don't have time for eyeshadow and i skip this step.
  11. Apply Eyeliner. I don't like the dramatic look for eyes. So sometime i tend to skip this step or apply a thin layer on the top of the lashes.
  12. Finish off the eye make up with mascara. I am a big big fan of Mascara and cant think of stepping out without one.  My all time favorite is Bobbie Brown Mascara.
  13. Any make-up look is incomplete without this step - Lipsticks. Use lip liner to outline  your lips and then apply the liner all over your lips. Then i use bobbie brown / MAC liquid  lipsticks. Choose the shade which goes with your outfit and your skin tone.
  14. Use setting powder or/and a setting spray to finish your daily Makeup look.
  15. When you have little extra time in morning, you can apply blush, contour and highlighter before step #14. But i skip these steps to keep my daily work wear makeup look minimal.

Am I buying from a legit site? Are the products of good quality? Is the sizing defined well? Is  the return policy reliable and practical? Well, I am answering to all of the above questions. With the gorgeous collection, YES! Chicwish is a reputable company having  physical addresses in US, UK and Ger

SuryaNamaskara

Home is the starting place of love, hope and dreams. As we are all maintaining #socialdistancing and staying home, it is equally important to keep our body and mind healthy. I am best utilizing this time practicing SuryaNamaskara or Sun Salutation. SuryaNamaskara or Sun Salutation is one of the basic Yoga Practice. It consists of 8 Asanas or postures combined in a Yoga Sequence of 12. This powerful and ancient asanas not only makes you flexible and strong but also boosts metabolism. Best time to practice SuryaNamaskara is early morning before food intake, but can also be done late evening before dinner. Each posture stretches different part of the body and has its own health benefits. But maintaining right posture and breathing rhythm is equally important to get these benefits. Some of the benefits are - Tones muscles and improves flexibility - Keep anxiety and Stress away - Good for hormonal balance - Improves Digestion - Improve your Skin - Increases Energy

My two month review of F45 HIIT training workout

Its been 3 years since my second delivery and i breast fed my LO for 3 years. After weaning off,  i still continued to eat the same amount of food. This resulted in excess weight gain. I did not do any workout, nor followed any specific diet and to add to this had a laid back lifestyle (although busy running around my 2 kids) , there was a lot of fat deposition around my abdomen and waist.  My dresses are not fitting any more. Every time i see myself, i thought of starting workout or going on a KETO diet which has amazing and fast results (although not sure about any side effects). With 2 kids and a full time corporate job, i was always pressed for time. I always had reasons not to workout - sometimes it is crunched for time, other time it is no motivation or sometimes low in energy. Occasionally I did yoga at home, but starting yoga in your 30s comes with its own challenges. When i started to have weakness, pain in my joints and fatigue all the time, i knew this is the time.
